If not they'd have sent a 'we won't do it' kind of reply. The question of how long it may take them to send you the code is a good one though... in germany, you can ask for things a lot of times... as long as you don't give a due date, you'll have a hard time to enforce anything. Given the story here, i'd send them a Letter (snail mail, with confirmation of reciept) asking for the code within 2 weeks.
